Hohnen Ford

North London native Hohnen Ford found music young, first learning flute from a neighbour during a brief re-location to San Francisco. Music permeated family life growing up, from her father’s love for Northern Soul, her mother’s classical piano playing and her grandfather's favourite jazz repertoire. Ford’s debut EP, ‘Infinity’ (2022), recorded in her childhood bedroom and featuring just her voice and piano, won rave reviews whilst achieving over 1 million streams to date. Her covers of songs from the Great American Songbook have attracted millions more views online and won her fans including John Mayer, Tom Misch, and Laufey. Sophomore EP, ‘I Wish I Had A God’ (2024), saw Ford develop a more produced sound and is a meticulously crafted, emotionally expansive statement. It’s received acclaim from BBC Radio 1 (Sian Eleri), BBC Radio 2 (Jamie Cullum), KCRW and influential music YouTuber Rick Beato. Hohnen Ford will be supporting Finneas on his 2025 UK and European tour.
